Lithium batteries are the present and future of energy storage functions and uses. Though quite costly as a product, it guarantees a longer lifespan and hence is a smart investment option from a long term perspective. It also has the capability to deep cycle while still maintaining power.

The Lithium-ion batteries manufactured by ARB have high energy density as compared to its lead-acid or nickel-metal hydride counterpart. LITHIUM BATTERY V/S LEAD-ACID BATTERY

Li-ion batteries by ARB are typically light-weight, weighing around one third less than traditional battery types like AGM, flooded, or GEL lead-acid ones. They also provide 50% more energy.

Lead-acid batteries lose power relatively easily, whereas Li-ion ones manufactured by ARB are capable of showing efficiency even as high as 99% with minimum loss of energy.

Li-ion batteries can be used up to 100% of their capacity without any issues as compared to lead-acid ones that have a high rate of discharge. Lead-acid battery types also come with a disclaimer to prevent their discharge below 50% of their rated capacity for longer shelf life.

ARB’s rechargeable Li-ion batteries can run for as high as 5000 cycles, even with high rates of discharge. Lead-acid batteries usually run only for 300-500 cycles with a high rate of discharge, leading to a drastic reduction in lifespan.
