For a workshop assessing larger cells, the benefit of a suitable test station is a repeatable procedure with a clearly identified result. Commission with a reference cell at an appropriate reduced current before running the intended test. Check that the chosen voltage endpoints and rest stages match the battery specification. Observe contact heating and stop if the cell or connection behaves abnormally. Preserve the original result, operating conditions and any retest reason.
