The YPSDZ 800-1000 combines battery charging with discharge-capacity testing in a manually selected workflow. Its catalogue ratings are 1000W for charging and 800W for discharging; the two numbers must not be reversed when specifying the equipment.

This arrangement suits a workshop that can supervise battery preparation and the transition between modes. It is not the same as an automatic cycling cabinet. Plan the operator's role and the test record before using it for repeated battery comparisons, particularly when several jobs share one bench.

The documented discharge section operates within 2-100V and offers current settings up to 45A, limited by 800W discharge power. As voltage increases, the available current is constrained by that power limit. Maximum current and maximum voltage therefore cannot be promised simultaneously across the full range.

Confirm the exact charging-voltage ceiling for the supplied version and compare it with the battery's maximum charged voltage. Check chemistry, charge-current allowance, BMS behaviour and the chosen discharge endpoint. The instrument's broad voltage class does not establish that every pack can use one common charging profile.

Assess the required load against the 800W discharge limit throughout the voltage range. Specify suitable current leads and terminals, and check the mains version before installation. A production process that requires unattended automatic charge-discharge cycling may need different equipment. For this manually switched model, define who verifies each mode transition and how the battery identity and test settings will be recorded.
