The TDT 4.3-Inch Battery SOC Display with Case combines a local battery-status interface with the specified display housing. It is intended for a compatible TDT BMS and remains distinct from the separately listed standard 4.3-inch variant.

A cased screen can be useful when the installation needs a defined enclosure around the display module. The housing should be considered as part of the mechanical assembly, alongside its mounting method, cable entry and the space available on the battery cabinet or equipment panel.

TDT documents 4.3-inch touch displays as an interface option for supported battery-management systems. The display presents the information available from the matched BMS; it does not independently change the pack's protective limits or measure an additional amount of stored battery capacity.

The case is a supplied mechanical distinction, not evidence of a particular weatherproof or impact rating. Electrical suitability, environmental protection and mounting strength are separate design requirements. A cased accessory should therefore be located and protected according to the actual installation requirements rather than treated as an outdoor-rated instrument by default.

Match the complete TDT BMS and display revision, the approved connection and the intended screen functions. Confirm the harness and power arrangement independently of the pack's nominal voltage. Do not assume that the screen can connect to every UART, RS485 or CAN port simply because the management board offers those interfaces.

Use the dimensions of the complete cased assembly when planning the installation. Screen diagonal does not define the housing footprint or mounting points. Check rear clearance, cable access and service removal, and keep the with-case designation in the purchase specification so a different enclosure format is not substituted during repeat orders.

Installation Guide

Install the housing with the battery isolated and make sure its mounting does not trap the display cable. Follow the exact display and BMS instructions for supply and communication wiring. Keep cable entries protected from abrasion and avoid routing low-current screen wiring across exposed high-current connections.

After startup, verify the displayed SOC and other supported pages against the BMS. Check touch response and the documented operating behaviour for the supplied revision. Restrict any configuration functions to authorised users, and record the final display, case and harness identification. Review the enclosure's environmental requirements separately; the presence of a case alone does not establish resistance to rain, condensation or a washdown procedure.
