The SUNKKO D1524 15A 2-24S Battery Equalizer is a high-current balancing and analysis machine designed for multi-series lithium battery packs. The balancing leads carry substantially more current than ordinary BMS sense wires, so thin protection-board leads should not be substituted for the proper equalizer wiring. If the pack is severely damaged, swollen, internally shorted or thermally unstable, balancing should not be used as a substitute for cell replacement and fault diagnosis.

Installation Guide

Set up the machine in a ventilated service area, identify pack polarity and connect the series leads exactly as specified. Check cell-group voltages before starting a balance cycle. Use the manufacturer-supplied or correctly rated leads and connector board, and monitor the pack during operation for abnormal temperature or unstable voltage behavior. Save or record initial and final voltage values when the job requires traceable service data. Disconnect only according to the correct sequence after the equalization process has stopped.
