The PG7 Nylon Flexible Pipe is a compact cable-protection conduit used to route, organize and mechanically protect electrical wires and harnesses. In lithium-battery, EV, ESS and industrial assemblies, flexible conduit helps keep loose wiring grouped into a defined path while reducing direct contact with enclosure edges, moving components and other potential abrasion points. The PG7 trade-size designation places it among the smaller flexible-conduit options used for compact cable bundles and auxiliary harnesses.

Its flexible form is useful where the cable route must bend around enclosure geometry or equipment structure without the rigid alignment required by metal conduit. The conduit should also be selected for the actual environment. Bend radius, mechanical abrasion, ambient temperature, contact with oils or chemicals, UV exposure and any flame or ingress-protection requirement can influence material choice. Where the equipment specification requires a defined temperature class, flame rating or IP performance, the conduit and its associated fitting system should be selected as a matched, documented combination. Properly supported flexible conduit protects wiring without transferring excessive pull or side load to electrical terminals.

Match the PG7 conduit to the actual cable-bundle diameter and the fittings used at each end. A PG7 flexible pipe is not the same component as a PG7 cable gland, although both may use the same trade-size label. Check the conduit-to-fitting interface, available bend space and cable-entry geometry before production installation. Leave enough internal clearance for the wires to move through the conduit during assembly without damaging insulation.

Installation Guide

Cut the conduit squarely with a suitable tool so the end does not crush or deform. Route it away from moving mechanisms and hot surfaces unless the exact material rating allows those conditions. Use compatible glands, clips or conduit fittings to provide support and strain relief. Where the conduit passes through sheet metal, ensure the entry point cannot abrade the wire bundle.
