The 2A balancing-current class provides energy transfer within the battery string. Cell readings and balancing controls support commissioning and help track whether a voltage difference is decreasing over time. The balancing-current figure is separate from the pack's main charge and discharge ratings. Equalization can improve the use of available capacity where uneven charge levels are the limiting factor; it does not repair weak cells or replace sound connections.

In a 16S pack, the balancer connects across 16 successive cell groups. Each group may contain parallel cells, but the series count stays 16. Choose the balancer by this series layout, not by the total number of individual cells. Match the complete model and hardware revision to the battery chemistry, supply arrangement and operating voltage. Use the supported JK app for the supplied unit. Follow the model-specific JK wiring diagram. With the module disconnected, attach the sampling leads and verify their sequence using a meter. Secure the board and insulate it from terminals and enclosure metal. On first start, compare app readings with meter readings, set balancing parameters for the pack and inspect the assembly during a controlled operating cycle.
