The JBD Bluetooth module connects a compatible JBD Smart BMS to a supported mobile application. It provides local wireless access to battery information during routine use, commissioning and maintenance.

Instead of attaching a computer for each inspection, the user can view the information supplied by the BMS through the JBD/Xiaoxiang application. This is useful when checking a battery installed inside an enclosure or diagnosing a pack at a service bench. This separately listed Bluetooth accessory should be matched to the installed BMS connector and revision.

Bluetooth provides the communication link. The BMS remains responsible for measuring the battery and applying its configured protections. The application can display only the data supplied by the particular board, and any setting changes depend on its supported functions and access permissions. Radio reception varies with enclosure construction, installation position and nearby equipment. A metal battery case can reduce the available wireless signal.

Use this module with a JBD BMS that supports the corresponding external Bluetooth connection. Check the connector, supply pins, firmware and application compatibility together. The brand name alone does not identify a universal connector or every supported BMS generation. Confirm that any other accessory sharing the service port can coexist with this module under the BMS instructions.

Installation Guide

Connect the module according to the BMS instructions, secure the lead and keep it clear of exposed power connections. Open the compatible JBD/Xiaoxiang application and select the correct battery device. Check the displayed information against the pack being serviced. Test reception with the enclosure in its normal operating position before completing the installation.
