Install the equipment with the correct three-phase service, protective earthing, ventilation and working clearances. Secure the battery and have qualified personnel commission current, sensing and temperature connections. Verify polarity and the approved recipe before enabling a load.

Start with a reference pack and a conservative current, then validate the intended operating conditions. Check sensor readings, connector temperature and software identification throughout the initial run. Confirm that the completed report contains the procedure and stop condition as well as capacity. Stop for abnormal battery behaviour or connection problems. Maintain calibration and harness inspection records, and retain interrupted tests alongside any later retest rather than treating them as disposable data.
