The DALY USB to UART connector cable provides a wired communication connection between a compatible DALY Smart BMS and a computer. It is intended for battery monitoring and supported configuration tasks using the matching BMS software.

A wired service connection gives pack builders a practical way to inspect a battery during assembly, commissioning or repair. This accessory links the BMS communication port to the computer so the technician can work with the information that the installed board makes available. Select this version by the actual BMS connector and communication interface.

UART carries serial data through the matched BMS service connection. The interface transports information measured by the BMS, such as supported voltage, current, temperature and status values. Available readings and writable settings depend on the BMS hardware and software revision. Communication adapters do not change the pack current rating or add missing measurement functions. The USB end provides the computer connection while the battery-side end must match the specified BMS port.

Match the DALY BMS model, UART port, connector pinout and supported computer software before connection. A connector that fits mechanically is not enough to establish UART compatibility. Install the appropriate adapter driver where required. Keep a record of the original BMS settings before changing any permitted parameters, and use the cell and pack specifications to determine safe values.
