DALY Smart ESS BMS 16S 100A R16L-V3.3
The DALY Smart ESS BMS 16S 100A R16L-V3.3 is an energy-storage battery management system designed for 16-series LiFePO4 battery architecture. Sixteen nominal 3.2V LFP cell groups connected in series create the widely used 51.2V nominal battery class found in home energy storage, solar inverter batteries, telecom backup and commercial storage modules. The 100A current class places the BMS in systems that need a substantial DC power path together with smart monitoring and ESS-oriented system integration.
Unlike a basic hardware BMS, an ESS-focused smart BMS is selected not only by series count and current. Communication with the inverter or supervisory system, pack addressing, parallel-battery architecture, display requirements and system-control logic can all influence compatibility. Model R16L-V3.3 is therefore best treated as part of a complete energy-storage control architecture rather than as a standalone protection board chosen only from voltage and amperage.
DALY's energy-storage BMS platform is built around intelligent battery supervision, protection and communication. The wider DALY ESS family uses communication interfaces such as CAN, RS485 and UART in supported configurations, allowing battery information to be exchanged with compatible inverter, PC, display and monitoring systems. In a correctly integrated ESS, this communication layer helps coordinate battery status, alarms and operating limits with the rest of the storage system.
The 100A BMS current class still depends on the complete DC path. Cell capability, busbars, cable cross-section, terminal resistance, fuse or breaker selection, inverter surge demand and enclosure cooling must all be sized together. Stationary systems can run at elevated current for long periods, so thermal performance under sustained load is as important as short-duration surge capability. Clean cable routing and low-resistance terminations also improve measurement stability and reduce avoidable heating.
Use the R16L-V3.3 with a compatible 16S LFP battery and an ESS/inverter architecture designed for the same nominal voltage class. Match the communication protocol and physical interface to the target inverter before commissioning. If multiple battery packs will operate in parallel, the pack-control method, addressing scheme and current-limiting strategy should be designed as part of the overall ESS. Select the power cable, fuse, terminals and enclosure ventilation for the expected continuous and surge load.
Applications
• 16S LiFePO4 home energy-storage batteries.
• Solar inverter and hybrid inverter battery banks.
• UPS and backup-power battery cabinets.
• Telecom and stationary 48V-class lithium storage systems.
• Commercial ESS modules requiring smart battery monitoring and system communication.
Installation Guide
Assemble and verify the 16S cell stack before connecting the BMS balance harness. Confirm cell-group order and polarity with a meter, then connect the power and sensing circuits according to the DALY wiring layout for the supplied unit. Route communication cables neatly and keep them away from unnecessary high-current switching loops. Configure the inverter and BMS for the same communication protocol, then commission at controlled charge/discharge current while checking temperatures, alarms and data exchange.
Why Choose ARB Accessories?
ARB Accessories focuses on lithium-battery, EV, energy-storage and battery-pack assembly components. The catalog brings together BMS boards, connectors, insulation materials, battery boxes, wiring, cell interconnect materials, testing equipment and assembly tools. For battery builders, repair workshops and OEM buyers, sourcing related components from one specialist catalog can make specification matching and procurement easier. Final suitability should still be checked against the exact battery design, equipment model and electrical requirements before installation.
