The DALY SMART ACTIVE BALANCER 20S 1A is a DALY smart-series active equalization module for 20-series lithium battery packs. DALY's smart active-balancer family is designed around energy-transfer balancing with a maximum continuous equalization current of approximately 1A. By moving energy from higher-energy cells toward lower-energy cells, the module helps reduce cell-voltage spread and can improve the usable consistency of a healthy multi-series battery pack.

The balancer should be treated as a cell-equalization accessory, not as the primary protection BMS. A complete battery still requires correctly configured protection for overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuit and temperature. Installation Guide

Disconnect the charger and load, then measure each cell group in sequence from pack negative to pack positive. Connect balance leads only in the order specified by DALY, with no skipped or reversed cells. Mount the module where the harness cannot be pinched and where conductive debris cannot contact the PCB or connectors. After connection, verify that reported cell voltages correspond to meter readings and monitor the pack through a controlled charge/discharge cycle.
