DALY NTC K TYPE
The DALY NTC K Type is a temperature-sensing accessory for a compatible DALY BMS input. It uses an NTC thermistor to provide the temperature-dependent electrical signal read by the battery-management system.
Battery temperature is useful information during charging, discharging and commissioning. A correctly matched sensor allows the BMS to read the temperature at the chosen monitoring point. This K-Type accessory is intended for the corresponding DALY connection arrangement and should be selected using the BMS sensor specification as well as the connector.
An NTC thermistor decreases in resistance as its temperature increases. The BMS interprets that resistance through its configured sensor curve. Accurate matching therefore depends on the thermistor characteristics and the BMS input design, as well as the way the probe is mounted. The sensor reports a condition to the BMS; the BMS determines the configured temperature response and protection behaviour.
