The DALY 16S 1A hardware active balancer helps reduce voltage differences in a lithium battery pack with 16 series-connected cell groups. Its active equalization circuit redistributes energy within the pack, supporting more consistent cell-group voltages during normal battery use. The hardware design suits assemblies that need automatic balancing without an app-based setup.
With balancing current up to 1A, the module transfers energy to address differences between cell groups. The 1A figure describes the balancing circuit and does not set the battery's charge or discharge current. Correction time depends on cell capacity, the amount of imbalance and operating conditions. Balancing can help recover capacity limited by uneven charge levels, but it cannot restore a damaged cell or correct a poor electrical connection.
In a 16S pack, the balancer connects across 16 successive cell groups. Each group may contain parallel cells, but the series count stays 16. Choose the balancer by this series layout, not by the total number of individual cells. Use this hardware family with compatible Li-ion or LiFePO4 cells. Pair it with a BMS of the same series count and keep the pack's protection, charger and load ratings appropriate for the application.

Installation Guide
Follow the DALY wiring diagram for the supplied module. Keep the sampling connector unplugged while attaching the cell leads, then check their sequence and voltages with a meter before connection. Insulate the board from exposed terminals, secure the wiring against movement and carry out a controlled first start. Check individual group voltages during initial use.
