Choose the balancer by exact series count first. A 13S balancer must monitor 13 cell groups in the correct order. Also confirm the cell chemistry and voltage range supported by the physical DALY variant, the harness pinout and whether the product is intended for continuous connection in the pack. For an existing battery, measure every cell-group voltage before installation and investigate any severely weak, damaged or self-discharging cell rather than using balancing to mask a cell fault.
