The BMS LFP 04S/6A (XSW) is a compact hardware battery management/protection board intended for compatible four-series LiFePO4 battery packs. Four nominal 3.2V LFP cell groups connected in series create the common 12.8V battery class. The 6A designation identifies the current class stated in the product name. This type of BMS is typically selected for small battery packs where pack voltage, chemistry and expected load are modest and physical board size matters.

The exact XSW model-level datasheet was not located during current research, so the product page should not copy protection thresholds, balance current, charge current, temperature limits or board dimensions from a JLGW, TDT or other 4S 6A board. Do not substitute it for a 4S NMC board; both may be called 4S, but the chemistry requires different cell-voltage thresholds. Verify whether the board uses a common or separate charge port, whether it has balancing, how many NTC sensors are present if any, and the exact B-/P-/C- terminal arrangement before assembly.

Installation Guide

Build the 4S cell string first and confirm cell-group voltages are within an appropriate range before connecting the BMS. Attach the balance leads in the exact sequence specified for the board and verify each tap with a multimeter. Keep the PCB insulated from metal surfaces, avoid routing high-current conductors over sensitive balance wiring and provide reasonable airflow or thermal path for the intended load. Test the completed pack under controlled current before final enclosure closure.
