The Battery DC Wire 1.5 SQMM Black – 100 Meter Roll is intended for low-voltage DC wiring and battery-related electrical assemblies where a 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section is suitable. Compared with smaller 0.5, 0.75 and 1 SQMM wire sizes, the larger conductor area can reduce resistance and voltage drop for the same conductor material and length. That makes 1.5 SQMM a useful step-up size for auxiliary power feeds, control circuits and other wiring runs that need more conductor area without moving to heavy battery cable.

The black insulation supports clear circuit identification and is commonly assigned to negative or return wiring in DC systems. It should still be used according to the wiring diagram and color convention of the equipment being built. Strip insulation using a correctly sized tool so individual strands are not damaged. Use terminals sized for 1.5 SQMM and verify the completed crimp mechanically.
