The SunkaLead SKXD-500 is a five-channel cylindrical cell sorting machine for voltage and internal-resistance grading. It directs tested cells into five collection slots, giving battery assemblers a practical way to separate an incoming batch into defined electrical groups.

Unlike a simple OK/NG machine, five collection positions can support several useful grades within a production process. The grade boundaries should come from the pack designer's matching requirements, not from an arbitrary equal division of the available bins. Clear collection labels and handling instructions are as important as the measurements themselves.

The machine combines tray feeding, electrical testing and automatic distribution, followed by manual collection of the sorted cells. Its control system compares voltage and resistance readings with the selected limits. Voltage and resistance sorting is different from capacity testing. The SKXD-500 does not establish ampere-hour capacity through a quick resistance measurement. When a pack design requires cells matched by discharge capacity, use the results of a separate capacity test alongside this sorting stage.

For repeatable comparisons, present cells in a consistent condition and maintain clean, stable terminal contact. Investigate a sudden change in reject rate before changing thresholds; a contact or feeding issue may be responsible rather than a genuine change in cell quality.

The documented format range includes 18650, 21700, 26650, 26700 and 32700 cylindrical cells, with the mechanical setup matched to the selected format. A universal product description does not mean mixed sizes should be loaded together. Validate the feeder, guides, test position and collection path for each production changeover.

Specify the required grading strategy and sample condition when requesting a machine trial. Include cells representing normal dimensional tolerances and terminal variations. Check how accepted grades and rejected material will be identified after collection, and how those groups will remain traceable as they move to cell holders, interconnection or the next inspection process.
